The quarantine program for incoming Kvutzah Talmidim, arranged by the Iggud Talmidei Hakvutzah – in conjunction with the Gedalia Society, and with the blessing of the Crown Heights Beis Din – has been considered among the most creative initiatives in the Lubavitch world during this COVID era. Earlier this week, it was proud to host a special guest.
The Rosh Yeshiva of 770, Rabbi Shneur Zalman Labkowski, made the two-hour trip to the spacious Connecticut campus to express his appreciation to the Bochurim who have made great efforts to ensure their ability to spend a year with the Rebbe, studying in the central Tomchei Tmimim.
The Rosh Yeshiva delivered a special Shiur Klali, devoting much of his speech to inspiring the Talmidim to good Middos and Ahavas Yisrael towards every Jew, and stressing the importance and privilege of studying in the Rebbe’s Daled Amos.
He then toured the grounds along with the management of the program.
Afterwards, Rabbi Labkowski sat down to be photographed with all the Bochurim in a group photo that commemorated the special visit.
The Rosh Yeshiva expressed his sincere gratitude to the directors of the Iggud Talmidei Hakvutzah, and all those who dedicated themselves to the success of the program.
The photographer Shmuel Amit documented the special visit, and presents a beautiful gallery:
