To our dear community,
I am humbled by the tremendous response of the community and the willingness to help out; I am also humbled by the opportunity given to me to take on such a task of servicing the Rebbe’s community, the response was overwhelming and I thank you for that.
I have now begun the task of raising the funds needed to run the organization, but the one thing necessary that many donors mentioned is that they would like to see the community’s backing for this project.
The most effective way for us to show them that, is if the entire community comes together and helps make this happen. If you made a donation then the community thanks you, if you haven’t made one yet, I ask you to please donate.
I’m asking for every family to give at least $10 a month and if you can give more then please give more, for a few reasons, firstly the small amounts do add up to very large numbers after 10 years, secondly, there is a sense of achdus that the entire community is involved in one project.
Thirdly, if you give a small amount every month it will keep us on your mind, and keep you involved, we want to be the place that you can go to when you have extra maser, if your company has a matching grant we want to be the place to go to, if you are donating and involved then there are so many ways you can help make this happen.
To donate visit www.jewisheducationscholarshipfund.org.
We also ask you to please join our mailing list so we can email you regular updates on what we are doing, please sign up at www.jewisheducationscholarshipfund.org.
I just want to mention that it’s a big project and it will take some time to see real change but when we do see change it will last, it’s what’s known as a “long short way.”
In the name of the entire community,
Rabbi Moshe Lieblich
