67 Mashpios for Women on Expanded Database

Ahead of Yud Shvat, N’shei Chabad and Jewish Women Influencers present an expanded database of potential Mashpios for women.

With Yud Shvat in the air, many women would like to rededicate themselves to the Rebbe’s heartfelt plea of “Asei l’cha Rav- Provide yourself with a teacher.”

“Every Jew should seek out and designate for him or herself a teacher- a Rov – on whose words he or she will rely.”

Some background on this hora’a:

The Rebbe’s guidelines on how to choose a mashpia:

• We can learn from everyone, but we still need one person who will be our personal mashpia. (Sicha P’ Chazon 5747)

• A mashpia doesn’t have to be perfect. She needs to be someone with Yiras Shomayim whom you feel you can trust. (Sicha P’ Chazon 5747)

• It’s hard to start connecting with a mashpia- to open up to another person. But once you start, the rewards are great and great brachos are seen. (Sicha P’ Noach 5747 Likutei Sichos Vol. 25)

How to be a Mashpia:

• Everyone has the potential to be a mashpia. If someone feels you’re the right mashpia for them, accept this achrayus and Hashem will help you. (Sicha Chof Kislev 5737, Yud Tes Kislev 5752)

• Don’t wait for your mushpaos to call you. Call them to show them you’re thinking about them and that you care. (Chof Kislev 5737).
