On Tuesday, 4 Adar (March 4, 2025), over 600 people gathered at Marlboro Middle School in New Jersey for the Shloshim of Rabbi Levi Wolosow, of blessed memory. The location held deep meaning—it was the site of Project Rosh, Rabbi Levi’s inclusive High Holiday service that welcomed hundreds of Jews who may not have otherwise stepped into a synagogue. It was here that he created a space of belonging, where every Jew felt welcome, seen, and inspired.
The evening was marked by powerful moments of reflection, including by Naomi Horowitz, who spoke about the role Rabbi Levi played in her life as her adopted father. After the passing of her parents, Rabbi Levi and his wife Chanale welcomed Naomi and her brother, Tani, into their family and their hearts.
A deeply uplifting moment came with the singing of Tzama Nafshi, a moving melody about the soul’s longing to return to its Source. It was the final song Rabbi Levi sang—just hours before his passing—while standing beside Avraham Fried.
A full video tribute, My Rabbi. My Mentor. My Friend., was presented during the program and can be viewed here:

A highlight of the evening was the official launch of the Rabbi Levi Torah Center, established to carry forward his mission of spreading Torah, warmth, and connection. The Center will serve as a hub for classes, inspiration, and spiritual growth—everything Rabbi Levi devoted his life to building. To learn more or join a program, visit www.LWTorahCenter.org.

I watched the whole video …just a precious and heartbreaking reminder about the gift of life … The gift of each moment… The gift of Torah and family and love …
Thank you rabbi Levi for reminding us all ❤️🩹
