Dear Readers,
It’s our Bar Mitzvah year, and we are celebrating – you.
A short while before Rosh Hashana 13 years ago, a small team of determined people launched a new website. It was called COLlive.com.
The not-so-small dream was to bring high-quality and relevant news, photos, and videos to the Chabad worldwide community.
We knew it would be interesting, challenging, exciting, and even exhausting. And we were up for it.
Frantic days and all-nighters soon turned to weeks, weeks to months and months to years…
We thought we knew what we were in for. We found out soon enough that we didn’t.
Could we have known that what we do is so much more than just reporting the news?
We had no idea that what we do would become a mission, a labor of love and a passion to inform, to help, to educate, and to inspire.
With blessings from Hashem and the Rebbe, that not so small dream came true – COLlive has been connecting the community – online.
And we couldn’t have done it without you.
So as we begin our 13th year, only one word comes to mind:
Thank You.
Thank you for trusting us and bringing us into your homes and lives every day.
Thanks for your loyalty, your interest, and for reading everything – and letting us know your opinions.
Thank you for welcoming us to your family simchas, your milestone occasions, and your everyday events.
Thank you for your love, kindness, blessings and support.
Thank you for keeping us in line and reminding us when we need to change and improve and making sure we always do better.
Thank you for being there for each other, for opening your hearts and wallets when called upon and for being a worldwide community.
Thank you for making us one of the largest Jewish news outlets in the world and the largest and most trusted news website for the Chabad community.
Thanks for celebrating with us!
Wishing you a kesiva vachasima tova – may you be inscribed for a happy and healthy new year and may we share good news!

Mazel Tov!
Thank you so much for COL.com!!
Continued strength!!
If ur marking 13 as special year, i guess it means you now have full responsibility and no longer can assume learning curve to lean on. Here’s to growing healthily into that, and continuing your successful trajectory.
Thats a great shot of the neighborhood
Mazal Tov…you’re right..we cannot know how intense this work of love is. May it go from strength to strength and bring that enormous healing smile from the Rebbe! Thank you Mica.
Thanks for posting a picture that includes E. Flatbush! As always, truthful projection of the news and community. A good gebentched yur!
Congratulations,
I have an idea for your site:
On every new engagement you should include who the Shadchan was! It will get more interest, promote the Shadchan and perhaps even encourage more Shidduchim.
Much Success.
