A beautiful and uplifting Shabbos was spent by the students of all Chabad seminaries for girls in the holy land of Israel in what has become an annual tradition that includes farbrengens and songs.
Participating seminaries were Bais Chana Tzfat, Seminary Chaya Mushka, Machon Shoshana, The Jean Schottenstein Oryah Insitute, and Ohr Chaya.
The Shabbos, known as Shabbos Aryeh Leib, commemorates the yartzeit of Rabbi Leibel Kaplan OBM, the Head Shliach of Tzfas who served as chairman of the Lubavitch umbrella organization in Israel.
Joining the students were the directors of the seminaries as well as Rabbi Kaplan’s wife Mrs. Sara Kaplan, and sons Rabbi Chaim Kaplan – Head Shliach of Tzfas and Rabbi Zalman Kaplan, Rosh Yeshiva of Tzeirei Hashluchim in Tzfas.
After an inspiring Shabbos, a banquet was held with the guest speaker being Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gluckowsky, one of the Rebbe’s Shluchim to Israel and Rov of the Chabad community in Rechovot.
