Lubavitch English-speaking students came from around Israel this past Shabbos for the annual Chabad seminary weekend, held in the city of Tzfas.
300 girls from the United States, Canada, England and other contries are currently learning in 4 seminaries in Tzfas, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
The gathering is held in connection with the yahrzeit of Rabbi Leibel Kaplan OBM, the Head Shliach of Tzfas who was a leading Chabad activist in Israel.
Leading the farbrengens throughout the Shabbos were Rabbi Yosef Rosenfeld, Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, Rabbi Yaakov Goldshmit, Rabbi Yosef Chitrik, Rabbi Sholom Ber Hertzel and Rabbi Yosef Piekarski.
Guest speaker was Rabbi Nissan Dovid Dubov, Director of Chabad Lubavitch in Wimbledon, UK, and author and teacher of works exploring the very essence of Judaism.
“The students left with a spiritial infusion which will continue with them throughout their lives,” said one of the organizers.
