One correction, it’s my understanding that Rebbetzin Chana stayed at the home of my great grandfather, Reb Zalman Schneersohn. At the time, he was in America with my grandmother, Rebbetzin Haddasa Carelbach.
So the Rebbetzin stayed in the bedroom with my great grandmother, Rebbetzin Sarah Schneersohn. The dining room where the Rebbe farbrenged was there as well.
The Butmans were staying in that home as well as that time. As Rebbetzin Butman was Reb Zalman’s sister.
