Lubavitch bochurim from 40 yeshivos worldwide took part Monday in the International Kinus Hatmimim in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
A record 2500 bochurim filled the Farbrengen at at Campus Chomesh annually held on Yud Shevat by Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Haolami.
The emcee is Rabbi Levi Gordon.
Tehillim was said by Moshe Liberow, a nephew of Rabbi Zalman Liberow, the Shliach in Flatbush who remains hospitalized after a car crash.
Motti Rubin, a bochur in Mesivta Lubavitch in Chicago, opened the event with a sicha of the Rebbe.
He was folloed by Rabbi Yoel Kahn, senior Mashpia in 770 and the chief ‘chozer’ of the Rebbe’s teachings.
The main address was delivered by Rabbi Shmuel Lew , a Shliach and educator from London, England.
A special video presentation of the Rebbe was shown and singer Yoni Zigelboum sang Lubavitch niggunim.
The entire event was broadcast live on COLlive.com thanks to the staff at Jewish.tv.
The Kinus is graciously sponsored by R’ Yosef Y. Kazarnovsky and family in honor of his father Reb Moshe Kazarnovsky OBM.
The official event was followed by group Farbrengens – for separate ages – with various Roshei Yeshiva and Mashpiim.

(you must of helped each other) Now you’re at the Big Temimim Farbreingen in B.R. Singing away with all your might…VERY NICE MULI. I’m sure your Rebbi and your Father will love it. GO SHMULI GO.

A massive Yasher Koach to Yudi Shmotkin and Tzvi Hirsch Altein for making this event a reality.

did LEW already spk yet?
i hope i didnt miss it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To #29
Reb Yoel doesn’t know English; anyway it’s good for the Bochrim to see the real thing for at least one speaker, not watered down version.
This is amazing to watch; just to get a feel of the atmosphere is unbelievable, even though I’m out of town.
Please continue the feed even when it goes into individual Farbgangins.
go levi gordon
i really loved this.one problem-why is that Rebbi speaking in yiddish when so many of us cannot understand one word. The boy Motti wonderful-which he would have translated some of the Hebrew. For those of us who love this, we would appreciate more translation to English. But overall it had me jumping with enjoyment!Lovely!
