The 20 Chabad Houses in the Borough of Queens united to put together a very powerful and meaningful Gimmel Tammuz event with the participation of hundreds of people, in the beautiful ballroom of Temple Torah which is also the home of Chabad of Little Neck.
The Ohel situated in the Queens section of Cambria Heights underscores the deep connection Queens Jewry feel with the Rebbe and Chabad.
The theme of the evening was “The Rebbe’s impact on the world and how that empowers us to act as his ambassadors.”
A powerful video of the Rebbe “Hidden Treasures” was shown. This new inspiring and uplifting work, tells four inspiring stories of the Rebbe’s unique ability to unleash the power of each individual, interspersed with a powerful Sicha on the topic.
New York City Council Member Barry Grodenchik spoke warmly of his connection to Chabad and appreciation of the Rebbe.
Renowned author and Shliach Rabbi Manis Friedman was the Keynote Speaker and he captivated the crowd in his inimitable style with a deep appreciation of the Rebbe.
The evening was a tremendous success and a great Kiddush Lubavitch.
