The Non-Prophet podcast from Raisethon has launched, kicking off with a special guest, activist, and “King of Nonprofits” – the legendary Moshe Pinson.
The Non-Prophet was founded by Raisethon and is hosted by marketing director, Zevi Kugel. Now LIVE, the podcast will discuss the do’s and don’ts of fundraising with community leaders and philanthropists in the nonprofit space. Our conversations aim to offer insight into the world of crowdfunding and provide perspective and clarity for your future efforts in the nonprofit space.
Moshe Pinson is an outspoken community activist in Crown Heights and the driving force behind many of the most iconic nonprofits in Lubavitch. From an early age, outreach, philanthropy, and volunteering were key elements in his life. Growing up with the Rebbe’s farbrengens, he was raised with an open home and a strong emphasis on mivtzoyim.
Once he got married and settled down, he noticed elements in the Crown Heights community that were lacking. People were no longer interested in just standing on the sidelines; they wanted to be active and empowered partakers of change. And so, Moshe got to work. In his own words, “We’re as strong a community as we are willing to make ourselves.”
Conversation with Raisethon
Moshe Pinson is well-recognized and devoted to the community in an unprecedented and unmatched way. He is a dear friend and partner in many of our shared fundraising efforts. Having worked together on several projects, we sat down in Brooklyn NY to have a conversation.
Here’s how the conversation went. Listen to our episode with Moshe here!
“Do you have a talent? Use it to better your surroundings. DON’T stand on the sidelines!”
