when i was there you were able to enter the fortress (it is a museum) and tour the prison cells. there are plaques posted outside each cell with the names of famous people who had been imprisoned in that room. so we are able to pinpoint exactly in which room the alter r ebbe had been in. why didn’t he post those pics- it would be way more interesting than the ones that were posted!
The prison looks like Alcatraz.
