150 Teens Gather on ‘Global Day’

150 teens and students gathered in the city of Dnipropetrovsk in Ukraine for the annual global day of Jewish study.

The annual day of Jewish learning is organized locally by the charitable education fund Shiurei Torah Lubavitch under the auspices of Dan Makogon.

Speaking to them was Shlucha Mrs. Chana Kaminetsky who presented a thought-provoking, interactive lesson on the theme of the responsibility of man in this world.

Dnepr’s Head Shliach and Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky inspired the crowd and explained to all the students about the great importance of Jewish education.

Participants enjoyed a quiz, prizes and refreshments. They left feeling inspired and took upon themselves to participate more of the multitude of classes in the Menorah Center.
