Please please don’t, israel has SO many new cases, I’m not looking for a relapse of the caronavirus in the neighborhood!

If they already had the virus and test negative

If they had corona and now test negative to corona virus there is no problem. but i suggest staff should be tested for corona as well. In israel they opened schools without testing staff and students first which resulted in around 25,000 in quarantine and over 500 new cases among staff and students

CH schools

What will be the protocol for teachers and staff in all our schools? What if a teacher of many students did not get the virus? Should that teacher not be allowed to teach in September?

well informed

The Bochurim in Israel should present their medical certificate to Rabbi Brod before traveling to Ben Gurion Airport.

WHY??????

camps can’t open but 1414 with all the germs with no supervision can open and spread disease around the hood!!

Confused!!

Didnt the rabanim here and israel say Israeli are not allowed to travel to new york so why is 1414 opening?

if you read the article you would see that 1414 is only allowing bochurim to come back if they already had corona (and they have antibodies now)
This includes bochurim from Israel that they can only come back if they have antibodies so therefore there is no worry that they would bring back corona to the community

its not so hard to get a doctor's note

My experience is that it is hard
If it is easy, that is the irresponsible choice of the doctor.

there is no guarantee that a person with antibodies cannot become infected.

But it is together with a letter that he had corona.
If thats not enough, crown heights should still be locked up.

Makes sense ....

Look, don’t come for Tishrei …. but you can come if you’re part of 1414?
A bit of consistency would be nice .
Also , how does anyone plan to enforce this . Say a 1414 bochur comes back and Ian rejected from the dorm …he will just chill in CH , which is the same as having Tishrei guests ( who I love having by the way )
I appreciate they are trying their best to regulate , but I fear it will simply become a flood

Welcome Welcome to ALL 770 Bochrim

Why don’t we test all residents of Crown Heights. Those who didn’t have the virus should be quarantined. We have to continue living

Nooooooo
June 15, 2020 1:05 pm

Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch 770 is the foundation of the world – including Lubavitch and including Crown Heights. Bochurim are well aware of what it’s like to be mushlam in maaseh; in dibur and in machshovo. They work on their Ahavas Hashem and Yiras Hashem. They sweat toiling to grasp nigleh and chassidus. They have mesiras nefesh to share what The Rebbe says with the world. A yungerman might r”l say that he needs to make money so he can learn nigleh, chassidus and do The Rebbe’s inyonim. …he might r”l get stuck in the bloteh – okay he will make… Read more »

I don’t understand the Rabbis are saying people should not come in for the 3rd of Tammuz But they’re going to open up the dormitory to have 100s of boys come in from other countries.a lot of things lately just don’t add up any more

Let us wait for the response from the community doctors who signed against visitors coming for Gimmel Tammuz.

Might as well open 770.once you open the door for one thing people are just going to start coming

don't think this is a good idea
June 15, 2020 3:41 pm

the local Rabbonim allowed this?

We recovered. So did they.

All of these bochurim were here during the days after purim and got corona together with the rest of Crown Heights. They fled to home to Israel after that. Medically, they are in the same category as the most of the residents of our shchunah. If we are prepared to open our schools and day camps and resume our lives, we should allow them entry. Remember, these aren’t guests. They are effectively crown heights residents for this year, including the worst of the breakout. These bochurim did us a favor by going home and not wandering around in crown heights… Read more »

He is only allowing those who get a letter from a doctor saying that they had it, as well as antibodies (or a positive than negetive corona test), which would put them in the same category as ppl in ch right now. (To get a letter from a doctor that you had it, is not the same thing as getting a antibody test or tested negative, it means a lot more..) I doubt bochurim would come and get rejected, because where would he go? No one is allowing bochurim into they’re house (talking from expirence),everyone in ch is afraid, and… Read more »
