The Capt. Hyman P. Galbut Jewish Learning Center Chabad held a special JLC KIDS Gimmel Tammuz Farbrengen today. Over 125 children and their parents showed up for this special event.
Rabbi Aron Rabin started the program by telling the children about The Rebbe and how The Rebbe cares for every single Jew, especially the children. He continued to explain to the children how The Rebbe is the Moshe Rabbeinu of our generation.
The children recited Tehillim verse by verse for all those in need of a complete recovery. Following the Tehillim, each child took time writing his/her “pan” which were sent to the Ohel. The children then fulfilled the mitzvah of Tzedaka by depositing a penny into the Pushka.
The twelve pesukim were recited by all the kids with tremendous energy. The final posuk was followed by a beautiful video of The Rebbe. A delicious supper, including hot dogs, corn, french fries and soda, was served to all in attendance, followed by a loud and wonderful bentching.
To conclude the event, a grand JLC style raffle was held and the children received prizes.

I JUST WANT TO UNDERSTAND . Can someone please explain to me why u have to brainwash ure kids when u are doing something nice?> why do u have to BIDAVAKA need to write on the picture of the rebbe SHLITAH????? why cant u guys just come to terms with the fact that the rebbe is not alive anymore and wont be unforunately until moshiach comes?? and if ull tell me that the pic was printed a long time ago, when teh rebbe was alive , that is no excuse. if the rebbe is not alive then please why dont… Read more »
the rabins are the source of LIFE in miami beach…. they keep the jlc constantly rolling with their great programs for the children!!! this is exactly what the lubavitcher rebbe would be most happy about and he would definitely like to see much much more to come!

The Farbrengen was great! Even in Miami you can find a Chassidishe atmosphere for your children. WE LOVE THE JLC!! Thank you Yossi Duchman!
