Hundreds of Bais Rivkah mothers and daughters sang, danced and celebrated by a heartwarming and entertaining event and concert saluting teachers, featuring Shaindy Plotzker.
On Wednesday night, Bais Rivkah Girls School kicked off its ambitious “Brick by Brick” campaign with a mother-daughter event that drew nearly 1300 attendees to Rosa Hall at Campus Chomesh.
The evening, filled with inspiration and entertainment, was led by Mrs. Sara Blau, who opened the program as MC with the recitation of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s kapitelach. She introduced the campaign’s theme, explaining how each “brick” symbolizes a contribution toward strengthening Bais Rivkah’s future. The presentation included historic footage of the Rebbe at the groundbreaking ceremony of Campus Chomesh, linking the campaign to the school’s rich legacy.
A highlight of the event was when Mrs. Mushky Yiftach, a Bais Rivkah parent, delivered a heartfelt tribute to the school’s devoted teachers, followed by a moving performance from the Harmony of the Heights Choir, directed by Mrs. Fraidy Grossman, featuring a beautiful song, Thank You Dear Morah.
The energy soared when Shaindy Plotzker, introduced by Mrs. Yiftach, took the stage. She captivated the crowd with a dynamic performance before the official announcement of the “Brick by Brick” campaign. Representatives from event sponsors MASK and IDCC shared brief remarks, and mothers were then encouraged to form fundraising teams. Shaindy then returned for an electrifying hour-long concert that had the audience singing and dancing.
“The girls had an amazing time,” said one organizer. “They sang along, jumped on stage with Shaindy, and cheered nonstop. She did a phenomenal job.”
The event marked the official kickoff of the “Brick by Brick” campaign, which officially launches this Sunday. This campaign will enable Bais Rivkah to purchase a new building, providing much-needed space for all school divisions and initiating the first phase of a multi-stage expansion.
