The annual Miracle Drivers Dinner, billed Miracledrivers ’23, took place last Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa, with over 1,000 people in attendance.
The theme of the dinner was the Rebbe’s message of the importance of “It’s up to you,” it’s up to all of us to “make miracles happen.”
Rabbi Dovid Masinter, the founder and director of Miracle Drive, and Director of Chabad House of Johannesburg, asked the dinner’s attendees to become miracle drivers. “G-d is pushing each one of us to become the people that we can become, to change ourselves and to change the entire world with the atomic energy within us,” he said.
The event’s Guest Speaker was Michal Oshman – Head of Company Culture, Diversity and inclusions at TikTok Europe and author of best-selling book, “What would you do if you weren’t afraid?”
Oshman shared her life story and spiritual journey with participants, and inspired them on living a life that is more meaningful, spiritual and kind.
A raffle was held, and winners announced were fist prize – Mr Levi Liberow of Brooklyn New York, for two return Business Class tickets for travel between any one city in the continental USA served by Delta operated aircraft, and Johannesburg or Cape Town. Other prizes included aq 4-night safari for 2 at the Luxury Mdluli Lodge at the world-famous Kruger Park.
Rabbi Michael Katz closed off the evening, and Rabbi Ari Kievman led the benching.
