You are probably right about the Chumras, but not everyone was brought up in a home where Chumras were kept calmly and with joy. It would be amazing if those who need to be trained and taught, and shown, can be somehow!

It may be the chumras… and the stress related to them… that are actually the cause of kids becoming chabad lite:)

This article in dealing with stress points and how to resolve, suggests rightly that all stress points can be dealt with proper planning. Chumras that are our mesores and pride has been blasted and discouraged and blamed for many sholom bayis problems. Chumras are not only our heritage but our guarantee against our kids becoming chabad lite and taking out the beauty of our Tomi tovim. Thank you!
