The 3rd consecutive year of Yeshivas Kayitz Gan Yisroel-Bnei haYeshivos will take place this coming summer.
Gan Yisroel-Bnei haYeshivos has earned a reputation for being a very meaningful and unique place for Yeshiva Bochurim to spend the weeks of Bein Hazmanim. The program caters to a wide array of Bochurim from diverse backgrounds (Litvish, Chassidish, Sfardic and Lubavitch Bochurim as Shluchim). The strong achdus and ahavas yisroel that is felt among the Bochurim is one of the keys to the program’s success. Another key element to the remarkable hatzlacha of the Yeshivas Kayitz is the close bond that is developed between the Bochurim and Shluchim.
Lubavitcher Shluchim are handpicked to serve as living examples of the Rebbe’s Chassidim. The Shluchim learn Chasssidus with the Bochurim, dorm with the Bochurim, travel, go on Mivtzoim and Farbreng together as well. The connection and friendships that are developed between the Bochurim is something that is very unique to Yeshivos Kayitz Gan Yisroel.
In addition to the daily learning schedule Gan Yisroel-Bnei haYeshivos offers an assortment of fascinating night activities and Farbrengens. At these events the Bochurim have the opportunity to hear stories of the Rebbe and Chassidim from a unique lineup of guest Mashpiim. For many Bochurim it is the night activities that really connect them personally to the Rebbe and Chabad Chassidus. As one Bochur shared at a memorable Yeshivas Kayitz Farbrebgen “I have learnt many Mamorim before but I never really connected to it . . . Today I understand that Chassidus is the “Glasses” of life. Only through these “Glasses” can one see the world correctly and understand and connect to The Creator.
The special atmosphere of the Yeshivas Kayitz has helped many Bochurim break through barriers and open new doors of understanding. For one particular Bochur it was the experience of going on Mivtzoim, for the first time, that served as a major turning point in understanding Ahavas Yisroel and the Rebbe’s mission. For another Bochur a strong impression was made on the trip when observing the darchei hachassidus of the Shluchim who carefully observed hiddur mitzvah in netillas yadaim even on the road.
In a Sicha about summer camps the Rebbe spoke at length about establishing quality summer programs that will affect the camper’s lives throughout the year. In honor of Gimmel Tamuz 5778 join our efforts in providing dozens of Yeshiva Bochurim with a most uplifting summer experience, connecting them to the Rebbe and Chassidus.
