Yad L’Shliach, an organization dedicated to helping Shluchim families in need of financial assistance, is in the midst of a 24 hour fund raising campaign. Within 6 hours they achieved their original goal of raising $100,000 which was followed by a bonus round to raise an additional $50,000.
The bonus round was reached earlier this morning, so Yad L’Shliach reached out to two frequent supporters, Milano Wigs and Freeda Wigs, who agreed to increase their pledge to create a SECOND bonus round of $36,000 with a 3-1 match.
“We are truly grateful to the overwhelming response from the community,” said Rabbi Shloime Friedman, who heads Yad L’Shliach.
“I can’t tell you how inspired we are that two of the world’s most popular wig manufacturers came together and cooperated with each other to help the unbelievable cause of Yad L’Shliach,” added Moshe Kravitzky, who launched the campaign for Yad L’Shliach. “This whole campaign has been a a true God send with so much amazing Hashgacha Pratis. Thank you so much to all our supporters.”
