The Chanukah season is upon us and what would it be without ice skating? Well Aliyah Girls is excited to announce “The Menorah Skate” for women and girls.
This Thursday night, the third night of Chanuka, at The Lefrak Center in Prospect Park there will be an exclusive women’s and girl’s ice skating event along with a Chanuka party and a public menorah lighting, doughnuts and hot drinks.
The event will benefit Aliyah Girls, a grassroots effort to reach out to and motivate young women and students of our community.
Founded in 2012, Aliya Girls has been creating a community of support and friendship for teenage and young adult women. They offer fun and compelling programs inspiring young women to seek out and embrace their unique qualities.
Each person has specific needs and Aliya Girls is committed to addressing them, be it a career or help in overcoming challenges or simply a place to relax and feel at home.
Many girls have thus far benefited from all that Aliya Girls has to offer.
