With heartfelt gratitude, the community of Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch is humbled and honored to share that we have reached our campaign goal.
What unfolded over these days was far more than a fundraiser. It became a living story of achdus, shared responsibility, and a deep commitment to the Rebbe’s vision of chinuch al taharas hakodesh– not as an idea, but as something actively lived and implemented each day. Every gift- large or small, quiet or public- became part of something much greater: stability, warmth, staffing, and uninterrupted, pure Torah learning for precious Jewish children in Crown Heights.
This was a matching campaign, built to multiply impact, but its true strength came from participation. Supporters joined not only through donations, but through teams, messages, encouragement, and a community raffle that added joy and connection to the collective effort. Parents and Teachers who usually work quietly behind the scenes stepped forward. Students felt the excitement of being part of something meaningful. People across backgrounds and ages chose to say, we are in this together!
In truth, before any names are called or prizes are shared, it must be said plainly: every person who participated is a winner. Because the greatest result of these days is not what was raffled, but what was secured- a Cheder that can function with calm and continuity, teachers who can teach with presence and dignity, and children whose Torah learning continues without interruption.
Chazal teach, “אין העולם מתקיים אלא בהבל פיהם של תינוקות של בית רבן”– that the world itself stands on the pure breath of schoolchildren learning Torah. Our sages go further and teach that their learning is not interrupted even for the building of the Beis HaMikdash. Supporting a Cheder, then, is not simply sustaining a school; it is strengthening one of the deepest pillars of the world.
It is with joy and appreciation that we now share the raffle recipients, whose participation added another layer of life and celebration to this campaign:
