Dear Crown Heights residents and guests,
It has been a year since the tragic massacre of October 7th, which unleashed unprecedented Jew hatred in our city and around the world. The belief that such hatred could never happen here has been forever changed.
Join fellow Jews for a Unity March From Kingston and Eastern Parkway to the Brooklyn Museum, followed by reciting Pesukim and Tehillim in front of the Brooklyn Museum for the safety of Israel and Jews worldwide.
Now is the time to stand in solidarity with Jews everywhere and send a powerful message: we are proud to be Jewish and unafraid to express it.
Let our voices be heard clearly. We will not shy away from being Jewish or from peacefully protesting against Jew hatred.
The Rebbe has taught us how to respond, and we intend to follow that guidance.
Children in Crown Heights are encouraged to bring signs that promote mitzvos and celebrate Jewish pride.
Please forward this message to your friends and family!
We must all come together and make our voices heard!

Excellent idea. Let’s all go
I did!
If the organizers are not going to convey the message (which gentiles also want to hear) that the land of Israel is the Eternal gift from the Eternal God to the Eternal Jewish people as recorded in the Eternal Bible then the whole March is one big waste of time!!
Completely agree!
They should also convey that Moshiach is coming soon and that everyone must open their eyes and welcome him so that he will come immediately now!!!!
There are many messages that could be said at such opportunity, yes. But any time a large group of Jews get together, that in itself creates healthy weight. Got together to proclaim togetherness (e.g., Am Yisrael Chai), even more. Said pesukim together, even more. So this certainly was NOT a waste of time.
. . . the NYPD has asked that people just stay on the sidewalks and out of the streets so that NY can conduct business as usual, and that arrests happen when people start blocking traffic and making a scene.
Thank you to those who are arranging! Achdus and Jewish pride is key!
What a beautiful and inspiring idea: fight back by showing Jewish pride and continuity.
I will attend
Assume there will be accompanying security
All Jews should join in the walk across the country at the same time , if they can’t get to 770 to walk
Nice idea but that requires considerable planning and coordination. You prepared to organize this?
“The Rebbe has taught us how to respond, and we intend to follow that guidance.”
Can you kindly elaborate, what exactly is the Rebbe’s opinion on this?
Kol HaKavod to the organizers and everyone who particpated!
Wishing everyone a Sweet New Year with the immediate release of our brothers and sisters from captivity and the reJEWvenation of Gaza miyad mamash!
Crown Heights Women for the Safety & Integrity of Israel
This should be a weekly or biweekly event! Maybe Sundays?
Talucha is on Shemini Atzeres – the day of the attack.
More people than ever should participate in Talucha, and the dancing should be greater than ever,
Every Shul needs to encourage their congregants to march. They could go as a group.
During Chol HaMoed, the organizers can send out representatives to get people to sign up and get their destination.
And delegates can reach out to more Shuls, even Shuls not usually friendly to Chabad, to show unity honoring the victims of the horror.
Very nice march on Eastern Parkway – TALUCHA IS REAL THING!
