Six years ago, Dvar Malchus began publishing a new item: segments from the Rebbe’s Sichos on Rambam, rewritten, edited, and set alongside the original text of the Mishneh Torah.
Not many knew at the time that these writings were the handiwork of Rabbi Meir Elituv, who is well known in the Holy Land for his many years of spreading the Rebbe’s Torah. For 4 years, Rabbi Elituv sat with four additional talented young Torah scholars to compile and edit all the Rebbe’s Sichos on Rambam and publish them in the seven volumes of Rambam Pardes Hamelech.
The beautiful set contains some 2000 of the Rebbe’s Sichos on Rambam, allowing the student to delve into the beauty of the Rebbe’s Torah while studying the daily shiur.
The text of the Mishneh Torah itself is the Chazak Edition, based on the Yemenite manuscripts along with edits that were suggested by the Rebbe himself. It also includes the mare mekomos to the Mishneh Torah that were compiling by the members of the kolel at the Rebbe’s behest.
In simple terms, this is a Rambam of the Rebbe.
The set was received with wide acclaim and was successful in bringing the Rebbe’s Torah to thousands of Torah students — Chabad and otherwise — from throughout the world, allowing them all to enjoy a taste of the amazing depth and breadth of the Rebbe’s teachings.
One of the earliest Shluchim to see the potential in this set was Rabbi Mendel Raskin of Montreal, who arranged for funding to purchase 40 sets, which he proceeded to distribute to rabbis, yeshivos, and prestigious kolels throughout his city (attached is his post about the impact this Rambam made). During the recent Kinus Hashluchim, many dozens of sets were purchased by Shluchim around the world.
The fund the project, Pardes Hamelech Institute asked Anash all over the world to pay up front for the set and receive each volume as it was released. Rabbi Elituv committed to producing the entire set within one year; many didn’t believe it would be possible, but against all odds Rabbi Elituv persevered and the entire set of Rambam was placed on the Rebbe’s desk last Gimmel Tammuz.
Now, in honor of Hei Teves, a new edition of the same Rambam is being produced: an English edition.
The entire set is being translated to English: The Rebbe’s Sichos reworked and translated, set alongside a brand-new translation (and concise commentary) of the Mishneh Torah itself.
After many difficulties, the first volume is now ready for publishing, set in a beautiful, attractive design.
Once again, Rabbi Elituv is turning to the English-speaking Chabad world with a request: Purchase subscriptions, and help this Rambam reach completion. One thousand purchases are necessary to make it possible.
The first volume will be distributed at the end of Teves, and the final volume will reach your home before the 42nd Siyum Harambam on Rosh Chodesh Iyar 5783.
Through buying a subscription, you gain in the following three ways:
- You purchase Seforim for Hei Teves
- You fulfill the Rebbe’s directive about purchasing subscriptions to support publications
- You become a partner in this amazing project of bringing the Rebbe’s Sichos to thousands more.
“I have no doubt,” Rabbi Elituv says, “that this set will ultimately grace the bookshelves of every Chabad home and shul, but those who purchase subscriptions will have the merit to be partners in this amazing endeavor.”

Yhis is a must for every Chabad home
