As time passes we move farther and farther away from the war. A war that eliminated one third of the Jewish population.
Our surviving parents and grandparents are the only living proof we have left. When one passes, so does a little bit more of the memory.
A lot of this world we live in wants to forget about it and even deny it. When we lose a survivor it makes it easier for them. We can’t let this happen, we must remember!
On Passover, we lost one such survivor, my Bubby. Her name is Goldie Small, obm. She lives on in her two children, and in her nearly 30 descendants. Her legacy must live on.
Chaya Aydel Freeman is sitting Shiva for her mom, with her sister Marlene Shapiro.
Please come by, please help with the Minyan. Please pay respect to the continuity of our nation.
