While the residents of the city of Beitar Illit, Israel are trying to digest the miracle that happened when a remotely activated explosive device was ignited inside a passenger bus and did not explode, Lubavitch residents are sure that the readings of the Megilah on the holiday of Purim right next to the attack incident protected the residents of the city.
In Beitar Illit, two tents were set up for the first time this year, for regular megillah readings throughout the Purim holiday. Last year, they had one tent, but this year, some energetic activists led by Rabbi Boaz Beck decided to expand the activity to another area as well.
The Shluchim said that the megilla was read during the night until 3:15 AM and during the day until sunset for over 1500 people and that this merit served as a protection for the city’s residents when the explosive device failed to explode at that spot.
Considering that the city is filled with Orthodox people with dozens of Shuls, it is amazing that the initiative was a huge success. In Chazon Yosef Park, meters from the scene of the attack last night inside the bus, about fifteen hundred men and women were able to hear the reading of Megillah, the Shluchim Rabbi Dovid Rosenfeld and his son, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Rosenfeld, reported.

this makes my heart sing with joy. Thank you
