As a follow-up to last week’s minyan of Tehilllim at the ohel, several chassidim met up on Thursday morning, 16 Adar, in 770 at the front of the shul, and recited the entire tehillim together in the merit of the expansion of 770.
The expansion of 770 is something that the Rebbe encouraged every single Jew to participate in, similar to the obligation every Jew has to build the beis hamikdosh[1].
“If you only knew – The Tzemach Tzedek said – the power of verses of Tehillim and their effect in the highest Heavens, you would recite them constantly. Know that the chapters of Tehillim shatter all barriers, they ascend higher and still higher with no interference; they prostrate themselves in supplication before the Master of all worlds, and they effect and accomplish with kindness and compassion[2].”
If you would like to join for the next event of reciting the entire Tehillim for the merit of expansion, please sign up at https://www.expand770.com/initiatives/grouptehillimevents

a real architectural plan with real numbers that will be overlooked by an outside vaad, who do not need to be supported by moneis coming in for this, a list of Lubavitch Gevirim, Balei Tzedokah ( those that don’t plan on taking it with them after 120 years) to be put together, with the option to have their names proudly displayed on the outside of the building so that there great einiklach we’ll see and continue the ways of ancestors. May it be done immediately, so that it can go to Yerusholaim so yidden can stop by for cheese cake… Read more »
I don’t like the architecture look of the proposed expansion at all
It should be expanded at least five times it’s size as the population grows. Every other chassidis is a expanding their shuls. Skver that has room for five thousand chassidim is doubling its new shul under construction. Both Bobovs are expanding their shuls to entire blocks in Boro park. There is no reason lubavitch can’t expand.
