A musical journey from the ancient cobble stoned streets of Jerusalem to the winding roads of the Jewish shtetl will be presented at the upcoming Chanukah Getaway Retreat in Southbury, Connecticut.
Veteran Israeli singer and composer Sandy Shmuely will be the guest entertainer at the Chanukah Getaway Retreat which will be featuring luxurious accommodations, inspiring lectures, skiing and fun for the children.
Shmuely will be bringing his high spirits and incredible energy to the luxurious Crowne Plaza Hotel, inviting audience participation and creating a wonderful feeling of community celebration.
Organizers said that Shmuely’s soothing voice will bring another dimension to the relaxing amenities on-hand, including exclusive hours for men and women at the heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and whirpool.

The retreat will take place this coming weekend, Shabbos Chanukah, joined by renowned international speaker Rabbi YY Jacobson presenting inspirational lectures and shiurim.
Attendees can expect to be wined and dined in style by Levi Feigenson and the staff of gourmet Table One Catering. There will be a lavish tea room open 24 hours.
On Sunday, Dec. 1, from 12:00?7:00 p.m. participants can enjoy snow tubing and skiing at Woodbury Ski Area, with kosher deli on the slopes.
A giant ice Menorah lighting ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m., featuring live entertainment with Jewish music and dancing, and holiday crafts.
