The Crown Heights Levi Yitzchok Library is proud to present its premier fundraiser evening ‘A Night of Lights’ gala concert for women.
In true collaborative spirit, a group of Crown Heights’ star performers are joining together on the last night of Chanukah, the 1st of Tevet (Wednesday, December 4th) to create an elegant, exclusive concert in support of the library.
In line with the library’s vision to nurture community creativity, the intimate, 100-seater concert, hosted in the library itself, will offer opportunity for women and girls to share in the deep and rich experience of Jewish music at its best.
With a steaming beverage and gourmet treats in hand, attendees can look forward to enjoying a bright ‘Night of Lights’ featuring Australian-born singer/songwriter Sara Hecht with songs from her new debut album ‘Pieces’; classically trained soprano, Chava Shapiro accompanied by acclaimed pianist, Mirele Rosenberger, with a treat of Yiddishe favourites; celebrated songstress Esther Freeman and her empowering hit-music; BulletProof Stockings and a veritable feast for the soul with their acoustic special feature titled ‘Niggunim Unplugged’; Melbourne-born singer/songwriter Rivka Leah Cylich and her yet-to-be-released new songs performed with harmonist Shei Brummel and guitarist/drummer Sheina Mushka Goldstein; Californian born-artist Riv Eilfort and her resonating, soulful originals; and pianist/composer Sarah Dukes with a score of her soothing, melodic piano arrangements.
Tickets are selling fast online ($25 online, $35 at the door) and women and girls are encouraged to book their seats now at lylconcert.eventbee.com.
