R’ Yosef Veshedsky, a longtime Crown Heights resident, passed away on Wednesday, 8 Sivan, 5781.
He was 59.
R’ Yosef suffered for many years with an illness, yet he was always kind and friendly and always had a smile on his face.
He passed away this morning.
He is survived by his mother, and siblings Mussi Minsky – Crown Heights, Shaul Veshedsky – Kfar Chabad, Sarah Batt – Boro Park, Pinny Veshedsky, Shloime Veshedsky, Reuven Veshedsky and Pessie Veshedsky – all of Crown Heights.
Please do not inform his mother or his brother Shaul of his passing.
The Levaya will take place today, Wednesday, passing by 770 at 1:30 PM.
Shiva will take place at 822 Eastern Parkway

Yossel knew alot of Chassidus and had a special excitement when telling things to others
.He was inspiring in many ways .
He had a wonderful gentleness with young children .
Our family has many pleasant memories of of the many hours we spent together in our home in Montreal.
