Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh’s Here to Stay fundraiser not only met but surpassed its ambitious goal. Thanks to the generosity of parents, friends, and supporters, the school raised over $662,000.
Over 1,200 donors and hundreds of volunteers helped Yeshiva achieve this milestone. Several volunteers shared not only their time and talent but also their homes to host call centers.
The ‘Here to Stay’ theme struck a chord within the Pittsburgh community. With the recent increase in antisemitism, this theme served as a reminder of the Jewish people’s steadfast resolve to persevere and thrive. Broad media coverage, both on television and in print, amplified the message and encouraged others to join in the fight against bigotry and intolerance.
Through interviews with key figures, the reality of antisemitism in the lives of the Yeshiva Schools community was brought to the forefront.
At the ‘Here to Stay’ VIP Donor Event, Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld, Head Shliach to Western Pennsylvania, greeted the crowd and spoke about the importance of Jewish unity.
A video, featuring keynote speaker and Yeshiva alumnus, Tamir Goodman, highlights his inspiring and challenging journey as an observant Jewish professional basketball player.
With success like this, Yeshiva Schools is here to stay better than ever!
