Light snow is expected Tuesday as the arctic system that has already blasted the region with icy winds and bitingly cold temperatures continues to hover over the tri-state, Storm Team 4 says.
Temperatures are expected to stall out in the 20s Tuesday, when snow is forecast to begin falling. Storm Team 4 says light snow is expected throughout the day, and a 1-inch dusting of snow is expected to cover New York City by the afternoon. The snow could also make for slippery travel conditions.
Arctic conditions are expected to stick around once the snow stops falling. Wednesday’s temperatures won’t make it out of the 20s, and gusty winds up to 45 mph could make it feel like the teens. Overnight, wind chills outside New York City will hit 15 degrees below zero.
Thursday will again be bitterly cold, with temperatures struggling to climb into the 20s, Storm Team 4 says. Friday and Saturday will be slightly warmer, but still below freezing.
On Sunday, temperatures are expected to climb above 32 degrees across the region.

Yeah & in L.A. it’s 82 degrees 2day !! They have it soo nice & sunny over there, it’s like summer, & us in Brooklyn have 2 deal with snow & being very cold. In L.A. do they really appreciate what it means 2 have gr8 weather ?
