Lubavitcher finalist in People Magazine’s All Stars Among Us, Tzirl Goldman, was invited to Yankee Stadium for Tuesday’s game.
Goldman, founder of the Friendship Circle in Crown Heights, was selected as one of three finalists representing the New York Yankees.
“Being so close to Gimmel Tamuz preparations it may seems trivial to be involved in this contest,” Goldman told COLlive. “However, this will give the Friendship Circle tremendous publicity and awareness that will hopefully bring much needed support to the organization.”
The top vote-getter for each team will be honored at the 2009 MLB All Star Game, and one will be featured in People Magazine.
The Friendship Circle, under the direction of Chayle and Levi Eckhaus, has been doing wonderful work with children with special needs in our community as well as their families.
There is one more week left to vote.
Vote everyday until June 24 to help the Friendship Circle. Log onto peopleallstars.com and click on the NY Yankees and vote for Tzirl Goldman.
