But I don’t feel the Mashal of bribing the guards is comparable to our Tzedaka. Of course, giving Tzedaka before davening is a big Mitzvah, elevates us, and helps our davening be more effective, but we can always connect to Hashem regardless. Even c”v people who commit many Aveiros can connect to their Father and no one nor anything can ever block a Yid from reaching out and being heard as well as answered by the Aibershter.
