On Wednesday a wine and cheese tasting event was held at Chabad of Kensington, Brooklyn.
A bar with all sorts of wines was set up alongside many special cheeses as well as a delicious dairy buffet.
The large crowd enjoyed socializing and then were inspired by Chanukah messages from Rabbi Moshe Chaim Levin in Russian and Rabbi Yehuda Levin in English.
The guest speaker of the evening was Rabbi Simcha Weinstein, who in his uniquely humorous way, related a Chanukah Dvar Torah and shared with the crowd how he became an Orthodox Jew.
In addition to these events, every evening of Chanukah two public Menorahs were lit, one overlooking the Prospect Expressway, a main Brooklyn highway, with thousands of cars passing every evening and one in front of the Chabad House.
Rabbi Yehuda Levin organized nightly mivtzoim for hundreds of Bochurim and couples to go out to private apartments and homes and share the light and message of Chanukah.
Other events at Chabad of Kensington included a Chabad Youth Zone celebration with a special fire show as its main entertainment, and a Chabad Teen Zone Chanukah party and bowling.
