Tzedakah On Tisha B’av
It’s customary to give extra Tzedakah on a fast day, specifically before davening mincha.
The Rebbe further emphasized this custom and encouraged the contribution of charity on Tisha B’av, with a special bracha: “May the merit of your Tzedakah speedily bring the ultimate comfort of redemption, turning the day of sadness into days of joy.”
