The hard work and dedication of the talented Bnos Chomesh students truly paid off, as audience members were deeply touched by their moving performances. The songs and dances, seamlessly woven into the storyline, added humor and excitement to the show.
Following the production, 11th grader Raizel Gordon wrote this letter:
There is a well-known saying: “Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.”
I go to Bnos Chomesh Academy and I have to say that this quote fits our school perfectly.
Last night when we had our production I was so excited!
I was thinking about how amazing our production was and I realized something important. Every student in Bnos Chomesh is a drop of water and when we all come together we become an ocean.
Last night we literally were that ocean, as our waves really hit the shore and we showed our friends and relatives who attended a beautiful and different way to look at life.
And we we showed it to ourselves as well. My schoolmates did an amazing job acting, singing and dancing while portraying a powerful message about how we each find our unique way to serve Hashem.
At Bnos Chomesh everyone is counted. Each girl is a name, not just another number. I can’t describe how much I enjoy waking up every morning knowing that when I go to school it is with family. Bnos Chomesh is my family.
