A topic that is the subject of much discussion by today’s parents is the high cost of yeshiva tuition. As fees increase almost annually, the financial burden on parents with large families seems almost unsurmountable.
One of the consequences of this reality is that bochrim—even good bochrim—miss the opportunity to learn in the yeshiva of their choice. In response to this situation, a group of supporters of the Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Miami Rabbinical College have come together to offer partial scholarships for 10 students who meet the basic criteria to learn in the Yeshiva Gedolah.
Students who receive a scholarship will be responsible for a balance of only $4,000. As opposed to the exorbitant amounts of 15 or 16 thousand dollars charged by many Yeshiva’s.
Established in 1973, the Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Miami has earned a reputation for high level of learning in both Nigleh and Chassidus with dedicated Hanhala, led by Rabbi Yehuda Leib Schapiro.
Applications need to be approved by the Hanhala to qualify for this generous grant. Applications will be reviewed on a first come first serve basis.
