Thank you, COL, for presenting this enlightening interview with Mrs. Korf, zol gezunt zein. The takeaway for me was the Rebbe’s emphasis on the need for positive thought, attitude and deed in our observance of Yiddishkeit and in life in general. From the reaction of the campers to her shiurim in the non-Lubavitcher girls’ camp Mrs. Korf tells of, this was surely what made the campers gravitate to her shiurim; it added joy to their Yiddishkeit and to their hashkafos in general. You had some real courage and perhaps that is one of your wonderful traits that helps others have courage to deal with Yiddish kite with grace and courage.
