On Motzei Shabbos, December 25, the Jewish Children’s Museum held its first of a 3 series program for Crown Heights kids.
The event was a great success, with every last ticket sold out. The evening began with a Chassidishe story told by master storyteller, Rabbi Nissen Brenenson, who held the attention of kids and parents alike from start to finish.
Boys and girls were then split for the rest of the program. While one group played at the museum’s 3rd floor exhibits, the other enjoyed a fun, high-energy drum session with Moshe Sobel. “The atmosphere was incredible. It was obvious that everyone in the room was having the time of their life,” observed M. Block, the event coordinator.
“My kids had such a blast,” said a very satisfied parent. “It’s really nice that the Museum is able to offer this for our children. I hope they do more such events.”
The JCM is pleased with the turn-out and is proud to have been able to provide such an enjoyable and educational experience for kids in the community. The Jewish Children’s Museum and its sponsor, COLlive.com look forward to the next two Kids’ Night Out events coming up: Mad Science on Jan 8th and Balloon Sculpting on January 22nd.
JCM apologizes to those who were turned away due to a complete sell-out. Please be sure to call in advance to reserve for the upcoming events!
