One moment before the entry of the new year, as the last Shabbat of the year 5778 is arriving, composer Meir Martin Widerker presents “V’shamru” from the first album in the series “Shabbat Hamalka”, introducing a beautiful, newly filmed video clip.
“V’shamru” is elegantly performed by Cantor Yaakov Yitzchak Rosenfeld and arranged by pianist Menachem Bristowski, who has also arranged all the albums in the series “Shabbat Hamalka”.
Producer Israel Bergmann reports that the recording of the fourth album in the series “Shabbat Hamalka” is currently taking place, with the participation of the most outstanding chassidic singers and using innovative arrangements.

This song is truly exceptional. No doubt in timing the release of his song to be Erev Rosh Hashana, the singer indicates that his song is also a metaphor of the ארך אפים in heaven above, this beyond the beautiful lesson it obviously is in parenting. The message is profound, the lyrics artistically written, the song beautifully sung, the presentation wonderfully creative. It scores a gold star on every platform.
