More than 24,000 educators from over 87 countries attended the annual ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) conference, the largest education conference in the world.
Among the keynote speakers at the June conference was Rabbi Michael Cohen, a designer who goes by The Tech Rabbi and is the director of innovation at Yeshiva University of Los Angeles Boys School (YULA).
Addressing a room of over 8,000 educators, Cohen spoke about the importance of helping students and educators develop the creative confidence to be better prepared to solve interesting problems in the world.
During his talk, he quoted King Solomon, emphasized the role of having belief in a higher power to innovate, and how creativity is rooted in goodness, kindness, and strong moral character.
