An open letter from a teacher about Chai Elul
I just opened my email and found the most incredible resources for Chai Elul.
It is structured perfectly with the background of what happened on Chai Elul, A niggun, A Pisgom, and story. The fact that you chose the a story that is a “Masah Rav” was brilliant it allowes me to tell the story and then have the children listen to the Rebbe telling the story and follow along with the transcript.
Then a played the “MyShliach Chai Elul story hour. I was amazed at how many new things I learned about Chai Elul and how cleverly it was given over.
As a teacher we all want to imbue our children with a love for the Rabeim and we want them to celebrate the chassidisha Yomim Tovim. But which teacher or even school has the time or money to produce such quality and professional materials.
I want to thank all the people that are behind this incredible program. I wish I knew your names and email address and could send you all a personal email.
The people whom l I do know are Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum. You have all dedicated so much time and money into training the next generation of shluchim and deserve a massive thank you.
For all of you on the team that I don’t know, please accept this as a personal thank you from a teacher who will be able to make Chai Elul alive in my class room because of you.
May I also suggest that every parent should sit down today for a yom tov meal and review the hachayol and watch the story hour with your children.
Tzivos Hashem and Myshliach, thank you so much for all you do. Please keep up the amazing work you are doing, you are changing the lives of our children.
A very appreciative teacher
