As we prepare for Shavuos, there are individuals in our community who silently struggle. They find themselves with limited resources and wonder if they could celebrate Shavuot with a bowl of cereal and milk and a cup of instant coffee in the morning.
The rising costs of groceries add to their concerns, leaving them wondering how they will manage Yom Tov meals and the additional expenses at the end of the school year and during the summer.
But you can make a difference for these families. You can help them enjoy Yom Tov and bring simcha to their families.
Your partnership with Chevra Simchas Shabbos V’Yom Tov (CSSY) will be all the difference to these families in need.
365 days a year, needy families in Crown Heights know they can always turn to CSSY for any assistance.
CSSY was established at the initiative of the Rebbe to address the needs of our community. Its primary purpose is to provide funding and assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardships. Whether providing food, clothing, or other essential resources, CSSY is dedicated to ensuring everyone in our community has what they need to experience a joyous and meaningful Yom Tov and take care of their families every week of the year.
Help ensure that every family can celebrate Shavuos with dignity and joy. Just as the Yidden united before Kabalas HaTorah, CSSY calls upon us to come together as one, with unity and solidarity.
Your support can make a world of difference. By contributing to CSSY, you will help hard-working families put food on their tables this Shavuos. You will bring the special Simcha of Yom Tov into the homes of young children. Your generosity can spare parents the shame and distress of being unable to provide for their families. The recipients of your kindness might be your neighbors, your friends, or even your own family members.
In the zechus of your generosity, may we all experience true Kabolas haTorah, united together, K’Ish Echad Belev Echad.
Together, let’s take care of our own.
