Righteous Fundraising Team had a successful Tishrei fundraiser and was able to help many families. There are still more families to help. Thousands of requests poured in asking for financial assistance for the food relief fund. But for three families in our community, the need is urgent.
Two of those families are living in Crown Heights and one in East Flatbush. These families weren’t just asking for help putting food on the table, they were asking for help to keep a roof over their heads.
As a result of being six months behind on their rent, these families are due to be evicted this month, leaving them and their young children homeless.
When going through the hundreds of emails requesting assistance, these three stood out. When Rabbi Mendel Feller was asked to help the campaign, he immediately agreed. Knowing two of the families personally, he understood the urgency. “When the needs of these families came to my attention, I was grateful that Righteous Fundraising put together an urgent campaign to help these families keep a roof over their heads,” he said.
Together, let’s raise $36,000 to ensure these families have a place to live.
Please open your hearts and donate generously to help these families. Together, we can let them know they are not alone in their struggles.
Together, we can ensure they have a place to call home.

There’s more then 3 families facing eviction in CH.
The big gvirim of our community should step up and make something together to save the situation.
Let’s help these people it’s very serious
More like we need to do something about rents which are unacceptable.
Food is a bigger problem than rent. ZERO Competition for the Kosher consumer = no insentive for service or decent pricing….
obvi we MUST help these families but lets be honest we have to ask the question is it long term sustainable
we need to start looking upstate look what satmar have achieved
I find it so sad when I see young couples just starting out and paying a fortune in rent instead of being able to save. Yes they can move out CH but not always is it possible or easy for various reasons
Pls post cashapp or zelle
Maybe we should raise a few milion dollars to help people buy houses so they don’t have to think about rent anymore
They will still have the mortgage to pay…..
Or an investor, Of course everyone should try to make tons of money, but thats not what is going to happen, so if you have tons of money, and within your community you have people that are not being able to make ends meet (both husband and wife works, get benefits etc) but still is not enough, rent food car, etc, TUITON CAMPS!!! are a fortune, who is supposed to help these people? They are employed mostly by jewish business owners, who have the tons of money in their pockets, and bank accounts waiting to find a next beautiful deal!… Read more »
