In its final stop before the Siyum completion ceremony, the Second Unity Torah, dedicated to Hatzalah members around the world, made a stop at the Rebbe’s Ohel in Cambria Heights, Queens.
On the evening before the Torah is set to be completed on Lag BaOmer, the organizers and sponsors of the project, Rabbi Beryl Junik, Rabbi Shloime Greenwald and R’ Zalmy Cohen, sat down at the Ohel with Crown Heights Sofer Rabbi Moshe Klein and filled in the remaining letters ahead of the final few which will be completed this evening at the grand Siyum event which will be streamed live around the world.
They were joined by the Hatzalah-thon Siyum event producer R’ Shneur Nejar and event coordinator Shaul Dahan.
They then placed a Pan note at the Ohel for a blessing for the success of tonight’s historic event.
