A successful Yeshivas Kayitz program has concluded for the Bochurim at Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester.
For the first time ever the Lubavitch Manchester Yeshiva relocated to a small vacation town in the north of England, which has a Jewish community.
The bochurim spent their time immersed in Niglah and Chassidus in a relaxed atmosphere, Shiurim were given by Rabbi Moshe Wolberg, Rabbi Korf, Rabbi Klyne and Rabbi Eidelman.
A special emphasis was put on learning Sugyos in Gemorah with their practical Halachic application, and the bochurim also took advantage of the time to farbreng and engage the hanhalah members on a wide range of topics.
The positive affect on the Jewish people in the town and the surrounding areas was remarkable. Every Shabbos the Bochurim were asked to speak in the shul, with many congregants coming to visit the bochurim to enjoy some moments of learning in a Yeshiva atmosphere.
As a token of appreciation the congregants sent a beautiful big food parcel and some Mashke to the bochurim for Shabbos. Many Yidden were visited in their homes and offices and dozens put on tefillin for the first time in their lives.
In light of the successful program and bochurim’s interest in the additional learning program of learning Sugyos in Gemorah with their practical Halachic application, an additional shiur for the coming year has been added. A large group of older bochurim has already registered to be a part of this.
