Message from Rabbi Yossi Simon:
On June 30th 2013, I will be joining the Capital to Coast Cycle Challenge from London to Brighton. As a long-bearded Rabbi, you might think I’m an unlikely candidate to join the 120 kilometer ride, but I’m doing it for a kids’ education, and I’m asking you for just one pound per kilometer!
No, I won’t be wearing bicycle shorts, and fellow riders might be amused by my tzitzit strings flying in the wind, but with your help, I’ll cross the finishing line having achieved a remarkable goal.
Our goal at Tzivos Hashem is to connect both children & adults with the beauty of their Jewish heritage. We show them the joy, meaning and modern-day relevance to ancient Jewish practice. Above all, we teach children to carry their Judaism proudly, with heads held high.
A Rabbi joining this famous Cycle Challenge, strutting his Jewishness ever so proudly, is a living example of what we set out to achieve.
Please be a part of the cheering squad for the Riding Rabbi by donating through JustGiving. It is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Tzivos Hashem the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
