“The Rebbe often quoted the famous posuk from Tehillim: ‘מִפִּי עוֹלְלִים וְיוֹנְקִים—from the mouths of children Hashem establishes the strength to destroy the enemy,’” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice-chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch. In light of recent tragedies in Eretz Yisrael, children need to be encouraged now more than ever to say Tehillim on Shabbos Mevorchim.
This month’s target is 70,000 kapitelach, to be reached through a collective effort of 50 Lubavitch schools and yaldei hashluchim around the world. Pivotal steps are being taken to ensure that every child completes their task.
Tzivos Hashem Headquarters released a new video tutorial that clearly explains how the Shabbos Mevorchim Tehillim Campaign works. A number of schools have established competitions to encourage chayolim to fulfill their quotas, including organizing Shabbos morning Tehillim gatherings.
MyShliach, Tzivos Hashem’s division for yaldei hashluchim as taken their own strides to this end. “We’ve created a Whatsapp group to communicate with our parents,” announced Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, director of the organization. “With this simple tutorial sent directly to their smartphones, they can grasp the system in less than three minutes.”
May the thousands of kapitelach said by all these chayolim pierce the heavens, stopping the terrible tragedies in Eretz Yisroel and bringing the ultimate peace with the Geula ho’amitis ve’hashleima now.

I’m going to share this right away on whatsapp with my children to share this with my grandchildren. Well its not so simple. This does not share to WhatsApp. But on my cell, I copied the link to whatsapp and that worked. This is a good project.
I know this will help. I’m not in Tzivos Hashem, but I’m going to try and say the whole Tehillim this Shabbos
you guys just keeping coming out with more and more…such constant improvement is so important.. I wish all lubavitch institutions were run that way!
Shimmy very nice
Please get your children to do their part!
We need every single child to do their part!
My kids love the medals.
Its a great system!
Dear Mendy
You dot know who i am, but i am a massive fan of yours. You and your staff have changed our home.
Shabbos Mevorchim would have come and gone without you and no one would have even known.
but because of myshliach my children LOOK FORWARD to shabbos mevorchim. they take the fellig tehillim that you made and sit for hours saying tehillim.
As I write this tears of nachas are streaming down my checks and i only wish you that you should have nachas from yours!
Thank you Rabbi Kotlarsky, Thank you Rabbi Shanowitz.
This looks amazing! All kids should be involved!
Thank you Tzivos Hashem for responding this way! – you guys are amazing!
If every kid in the entire class says their quota the whole class gets a pizza party!
we know you were the one to edit the video! – You have such talent!
great way to explain the amazing program!
Go Berka!
What a great idea! – That’s such a cool way of communicating with parents and its free. Every school should have one!
What a special man! While he is in the middle of running the kinus Hashluchim he is worrying about little children around the world saying tehillim. A real chossid! Bravo!
So clever how their are ten bench marks for the children to look forward too. this is very much like Aleph champ! the best system for reading ever created!
I love the fact that its personalized. That allows children who have a hard time reading to still take part of the program.
when my children watched the video, some of them said we cant get the black medal because we missed some weeks. but the other responded by saying but zalman and Yankul can. If this can get children not to miss a month of saying tehillim and say more and more each month until they can say the entire tehillim its nothing less then awesome
is it fair to put so much responsibility onto one child that if he or she does not complete their quota the whole army quota will not be complete?
I am sure the Rebbe is very proud of his young soldiers
so sad whats going on ion the world, but this is the right response!
