Dozens of families from the Chabad community in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, gathered on Sunday for an outdoor Tzivos Hashem rally in honor of Chof Cheshvan, birthday of the Rebbe Rashab.
Held on a large grass field adjacent to the iconic “Blue Slide Park,” it was organized by the new shliach Rabbi Chaim Itkin, recently appointed by Head Shliach Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld to spearhead new projects, such as a Kolel for Baal Habatim and farbrengens for Yoma Depagra.
R’ Mendel Markel led the children in nigunim and told over history, stories and sayings of the Rebbe Rashab.
The 12 pesukim were recited and the children gave Tzedaka to bring the Geulah closer. Nosh was available in single-serving containers and a grand raffle was held. The event was co-sponsored by Elyon Travel Agency.
Huge shout out to the base commander of Pittsburgh!
I’m so grateful that it was a warm and sunny day-a rarity in Pittsburgh in November! Hashem was (and is) shining with Nachas from you!!
